The region is well-known for its caves and the most famous, Han-sur-Lesse, are only five minutes away. There are lots of things for kids too (e.g. wildlife safari park, Eurospace Centre, open air museum). A number of the Ardennes region's prettiest towns are just a short drive away (e.g. Bouillon, Dinant, La Roche, Rochefort). For day trips you can visit not only Belgian cities such as Brussels (1 hour), Antwerp, Ghent (1,5 hours), Bruges (2 hours) but also Luxembourg City (1 hour) and neighbouring France (e.g. Reims and Champagne Country - 1,5 hours, Metz - 1,5 hours).
